Build an account-specific enrollment record

This checklist is an implementation exhibit for the broader supplier-choice guide. It does not determine eligibility from a business address.

Keep four approvals separate

Document who may release account data, who may negotiate, who may sign, and who verifies utility acceptance. A letter of authorization for information access should not silently become permission to execute a supply agreement.

The enrollment file should identify accepted meters, authorized supplier, service start, old-agreement notice evidence and any unresolved exception. A signed proposal can remain subject to credit or utility processing; do not treat it alone as proof that service has changed.

Close the loop after implementation

Compare the first supply and delivery invoices with the accepted service period and written price formula. Flag estimated reads, prorated fees and late enrollment separately. Retain the correction and resolution instead of replacing the original evidence.

Use the renewal planner for reminders only. Keep required notices and accepted enrollment confirmations in the account file.

Sources and review notes

Reviewed October 16, 2026. Program information can change. Confirm the effective utility tariff, supplier availability and written offer before proceeding. Examples and planning tools are educational; they are not executable quotes or verified customer results.

A practical next step

Put the full contract in view.

Ask about your utility, supply terms or renewal. Keep account numbers and documents out of the initial inquiry.
